Well done Aldo great fish. I,ve not done too much serious Carping on Hollybush 3 and have been content with some good Bream and Tench but on my first night sesion I did land a nice looking 11lb Common a few weeks back.

Have had only two carp out this season from Hollybush Pit 3 and loads of blanks but finally on Sunday 15th August everything came good and I had what one of the Bailiffs told me, who looked at the photos on the day, was "The Wide Mouth Common" at 27lbs exactly. I must thank the guy who took the photos for me and abandoned his swim to his wife for a while. This broke my PB by 5lbs so I was well chuffed !! This fish had the biggest mouth I have ever seen on a carp !

Spent a few hours in the sun on the small lake again. Jeff was on peg two large lake and has caught a couple of crucians on previous visits.
Tony and Keith were on the small lake in the shade. When I arrived they both had coats on. when I left Keith was topless and tony hot. They had both caught Tench skimmers and Roach.
I caught the same IE Tench skimmers and Roach, The only difference was I cooked.
Must remember to fish in the shade next time.

Spent a few hours at Shawfields today and was rewarded with a nice 33lb 8oz bag of mostly tench,the small lake seems to coming along nicely, just wish I could find the crucians. I've posted a pic in the gallery of the net .
