Roach Bait

The Best bait to use when fishing for Roach is red maggots, when useing a blockend feeder, every 5 minutes or so reel in the line and if the line does not feel heavier than when you cast it out, stop reeling and wait a couple more minutes. always change the maggot on the hook every 15 to 20 minutes but anything after this amount of time will result in the maggot being dead, also, use a size 16 hook when fishing for Roach as sometime you can also catch the odd Eel or even a small Carp!

I think he means to reel in a little after a few minutes when using a blockend feeder so that you pull your bait over the area where your feeder has released its contents
